I’m Marcela Mendes, an interior architect passionate about creating spaces that truly welcome people. I’ve always believed that a home goes far beyond decoration: it tells stories, holds memories, and directly influences our well-being. This vision is what led me to choose architecture as my path and, years later, to open my own studio.

I’ve been working in the Brazilian market for seven years, going through different stages of both creative and technical processes. I worked as a custom furniture designer, which gave me a solid foundation in functionality, precision, and smart use of space. Today, leading Marcela Mendes Arquitetura, I design complete interior projects that combine aesthetics, comfort, and personalized solutions for each client.

My style is inspired by cozy environments filled with texture, history, and personality — that warm “grandma’s house” feeling that embraces, comforts, and creates an immediate sense of belonging. I believe the perfect project is born from dialogue: understanding what each person feels, wants, and experiences guides every decision.

In addition to my work in Brazil, I’ve been expanding internationally, assisting Brazilian clients who need remote projects or who already live abroad. I also collaborate with Carla García, who supports the service for foreign clients living in North America and Europe.

My purpose is simple: to create spaces that feel like true refuges — and to make this a light, transparent, and human experience.
